The workshop adds advanced material to the Seminar course but is primarily focused on a series of practical application scenarios. Workshop members are divided into teams and work through the scenario components building the skills in each step needed for success and entrance criteria to the next segment. It addresses 6 subject areas:

- Cost Estimation Methods
- Defining the Environment
- Data Collection and Analysis
- Documenting Estimates
- Evaluating Estimates.
